We do not pile up steps: we build modules that you can link according to the music and the traffic on the dance floor.
We are forming the Alicante group: in the meantime, private classes and workshops according to your level.
The programme
Short exercises, immediate musical application and individual correction: each sequence grows out of technique and is tested through improvisation.
Effortless weight changes, an organised torso and hips, stable and silent turns.
For the leader, clear intention and elastic marking; for the follower, clean collection, projection and active axes.
Caricias, planeos, amagues, lápices and low boleos, without blocking your partner or invading the line of dance.
The rhythm of D’Arienzo, the line of Di Sarli, the phrasing of Troilo and the drama of Pugliese; milonga lisa and con traspié, vals in 3/4.
At intermediate and advanced levels we stop learning isolated figures and build a dance of our own. We work on technical modules that combine according to the music, the size of the dance floor and your partner: that way you improvise at the milonga without going blank.
Clean turns and pivots, ochos with real dissociation, functional embellishments and a first reading of the orchestras. The goal is to dance comfortably and musically on any dance floor in Alicante.
Speed with control, enrosques, sacadas, volcadas and colgadas in their social version, small spaces and the interpretation of each orchestra, from D’Arienzo to Pugliese.
We are gathering experienced dancers to open a group in Alicante. In the meantime, you progress with private classes and workshops on technique, milonga or vals. In Elche and El Campello, if several of you have experience, we open a class for your level in the hour after the starter group. Write to us and we will let you know as soon as there is a date.
