Our Private Tango Lessons in Alicante
If you are starting from scratch, I’ll guide you through your first steps with a kind and clear approach: stable axis, relaxed embrace, step projection, and meaningful pauses.
If you already dance, we’ll focus on what truly unlocks your tango: clean turns, precise pivots, musical breathing, vals cadence, or rhythmic play in milonga.
The goal is not to collect endless figures, but to develop your own language that feels elegant and natural.
Methodology: Useful Technique & Musicality from the Start
Before we begin, we make a brief diagnostic to understand your habits and goals. From there, each session flows naturally:
A technical warm-up to refine your body,
A musical application where steps breathe with the rhythm,
A final integration with short sequences designed for the ronda.
Schedule and Location in Alicante
Lessons are held in central Alicante, in a bright and well-connected studio. We also work in Elche and Benidorm depending on the schedule. If you prefer, we can arrange lessons at your home, provided the space allows it.
Standard duration: 60 minutes (with the option of 90 minutes for deeper work or specific preparation). Longer sessions are also possible — you decide.
Prices, Packages & Trial Policy
You can book a single private lesson or choose a package to ensure continuity.
Private lessons for couples include a small supplement.
Travel fees for home lessons are agreed upon depending on the area.
We do not offer free trials for private lessons. Free group trial sessions are organized 2–3 times a year; if no date is active, the first individual class is paid as a single session.
About the Maestro: Luciano Tango
Luciano Blanco, Argentine maestro from Mar del Plata, has more than 20 years of teaching experience. Trained with the old masters, he is known for his technical and human approach: precise corrections, musicality from the beginning, and a comfortable, elegant social tango.
He currently teaches in Alicante and Valencia, offers workshops across Spain, and occasionally collaborates in Madrid.
FAQs – Private Tango Lessons
Do I need a partner?
No. We can work individually or as a couple. If you come alone, we rotate roles and use guided exercises.
What will we cover in the first class?
After the diagnostic, we focus on one or two key areas (for example, embrace and walking) and finish with practical recommendations.
What clothing and shoes are best?
Comfortable clothing and shoes that glide slightly (smooth soles). Avoid shoes with heavy grip.
Do you offer lessons at home?
Yes, in Alicante. In Elche/Benidorm it depends on schedule and space. A travel supplement may apply.
Do you offer free lessons?
Only during special group events held 2–3 times a year. If none are scheduled, the first individual class is a paid session.
