Why is our dance school different?
We put fundamental technique at the center: it is what sustains an elegant and confident style, the essential basis of tango. That is why we focus our teaching on what builds a solid dance: axis and weight change, a comfortable embrace (open or closed depending on the situation), dissociation, ochos, pivots and turns, as well as cadence and musical phrasing.
This depth makes a difference: you progress clearly, improve your balance, and reach the enjoyment of practice and the milonga faster.
We do not sell isolated figures; we integrate them into a progressive and complete method, so that everything you learn works on the dance floor. We teach you to dance with meaning: to navigate the ronda with fluidity and to respect the dance floor codes — mirada/cabeceo, entering and exiting, circulation and distance from other couples.
The result: a tango more connected, musical, and enjoyable — for you and for those around you.
What will you learn at our Dance Academy in Alicante?
Whether you come alone or with a partner, you are welcome. You do not need a partner: in class we rotate and balance roles (leading and following) so that you learn comfortably. If you come as a couple, we work on your connection, communication, and shared style.

If you are starting from zero
We give you a solid base: posture, embrace, walking in connection with the music, and your first ochos without straining the knees. From the beginning, we prioritize safety and comfort so you can enjoy dancing as soon as possible.
If you already have tango experience
You will find workshops to refine turns and pivots with precision, useful dissociation, embrace quality, and musicality (pulse, accents, syncopation, and phrasing).
Styles and rhythms you will work on
Argentine Tango: the base language, elegant and improvised.
Milonga: more agile and playful (2/4). We work on both lisa and traspié to gain fluency.
Tango Vals (criollo waltz): 3/4 rhythm, fluid and circular, perfect for feeling the cadence.
What is a milonga (dance event)?
The milonga is the social gathering where tango, milonga, and vals are danced. There are tandas of music, cortinas between tandas, and a ronda that everyone shares with respect.
We prepare you for your first milonga: how to enter and leave the floor, invite (mirada/cabeceo), orient yourself in the ronda, and enjoy safely.
Private classes and wedding choreographies
If you want to progress faster or prepare something special, private dance lessons are the direct way.
We design custom wedding choreographies / first dances: we choose the music with you, adapt it to your level, and plan rehearsals so that you feel relaxed and shine on your special day.

Our main location is in the center of Alicante, in a bright and well-connected studio. We also serve Elche and Benidorm with group classes or private lessons depending on the schedule.

Prices and open house sessions
You can attend with a single class or a monthly pass when the group is active. Free trial sessions are organized 2–3 times a year in group format; if no date is published, the first attendance is counted as a single class.
About the teacher
Luciano Blanco has been teaching for more than twenty years. His technical and human approach makes musicality appear from the start and makes the embrace feel comfortable and elegant. He teaches classes in Alicante and Valencia and conducts workshops in Madrid.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a partner?
No. We rotate and balance roles in class so that everyone dances.
Do you offer other dance styles?
No; we are specialists in Argentine Tango. If you are looking for salsa or bachata, we can guide you, but our proposal is 100% tango. Still, we invite you to try the milonga rhythm, more playful and energetic, which will surprise you.
Is there a true beginner level?
Yes. The initiation is designed for those who are starting completely from scratch.
When will I be able to go to a milonga?
It depends on your practice, but with a base of walking, embrace, and musicality, many students are ready for a practice in just a few weeks.
